From Wednesday, May 29, through Sunday, June 2, the 11th annual Riverview Jazz Jersey City Jazz Festival, will present nearly 40 concerts at several different locations. The performances during the last two days will be outdoors on the waterfront.
Among the performers: tenor saxophonist Jerry Weldon on May 30 at Brennan Courthouse; drummer Johnathan Blake (photo above) on May 31 at Nimbus Arts Center; pianist/vocalist Champian Fulton, pianist Dave Kikoski, and tenor saxophonist Lance Bryant on June 1 on the waterfront; and tenor saxophonist George Coleman and vocalist Brianna Thomas on June 2 on the waterfront. The final event on June 2 will be an Afterparty with drummer Winard Harper & Friends at Moore’s Lounge on Monticello Avenue in Jersey City.
