Jazzfest 2009 celebrates jazz through the decades from the 1920s to the present with some of today’s swingingest musicians on the beautiful Drew University campus.
It’s our annual jazz barbecue picnic and whether you bring your own food, or choose from our mouth watering menu, you’ll enjoy a great day of nonstop music, food and crafts. Now in its 32nd year, Jazzfest is not only one of the region’s most popular summer jazz festivals, but also the longest running.
Jazzfest will kick off with a free concert on Friday June 5th and continue with nonstop music on Saturday from noon until 10:00 PM. All afternoon of Saturday, we’ll have continuous music in three great locations:
Also you can browse our expanded vendor tents, where you can purchase difficult to find jazz CDs, vinyl, wearables, jewelry, food treats and much more! Our food vendors will be open from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM, serving up a scrumptious variety from coffee and bagels in the morning to authentic southern barbecue and more throughout the day and evening.
Buy your tickets early to take advantage of the best prices anywhere. With free admission for kids 16 and under, free parking and access to public transportation, Jazzfest is quite possibly the music bargain of the summer.
